There is parking close to the Hurlers, a Neolithic stone circle and also a good starting point for exploring the Cheesewring - a granite tor to the north of Minions. The Heritage Centre, a restored engine house close to the car park with disabled access is well worth a visit (free)
Boscastle is a picturesque village hidden in a steep sided valley. Although Boscastle was badly affected by the flood in August 2004 it is now well on its way to full recovery with the shops, pubs and cafes open.
Established in 1957, Lower Lake Shooting Grounds is Picturesque and has teaching from total beginner to Advanced Clay Shooting, As well as Game Shooters, Skeet & Sporting for Clay Shooters, a variety of High and Low Towers in the valley for game shooters.
